It is entirely true that what you eat and think affects you emotionally. So it is wise to fill yourself with foods that encourage release of toxins that you may put into your body on a daily basis. Even if it is not entering your body through the foods you eat. There are certain foods that aid in promotion of digestion, cleanse your body, and even aid in weight loss. But I will save these subjects for another topic. Back to keeping yourself emotionally balanced by what you eat and drink. Tea is an excellent source that promotes calmness, sleep,  it aids in digestion, cleanses your body, anxiety, stress,  and even helps you lose weight. The ingredients in tea have their own roles they play in your tea. It also depends on what kind of tea you make and what you put in it.



Benefits of TeaPeppermint tea with lemon and honey helps you when you are sick. It helps to flush out the mucus in your body. Any flavor tea with lemon and honey will help you relieve stress. Sleepy time tea with lemon, and honey will help you relax and calm down to get refreshing rest.
  • The Lemon plays several roles in your tea. It helps balance the pH in your body. Which more than likely will keep your mood elevated.
  • Lemons contain Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps you fight off sickness. So it is beneficial to drink tea when you have a cold or the flu.
  • Lemons aid in digestion. They rid the body of toxins, and get rid of intestinal worms. They work as a diuretic and help your bowels move. In the midst of aiding with digestion the lemons can also help you lose weight. The more toxins that are flushed out it helps you get rid of things you don't need that you may keep when you are overweight or maintaining weight you could stand to lose.
Honey just helps with the cough when you have a cold. Be careful not to give honey to any children under 2. It is dangerous for them because it contains spores that can harm them.
